“I have been doing drag for around 5 years on and off. Mostly as a hobby. I eventually realised no one was about to pay me to get into drag so I decided to create my own night (Pussy’s Bow). It’s strange as I used to be very anti drag and was very unwoke when I was younger but now I’ve full embraced it and find it a very liberating and powerful experience. I also have a long history with mental health issues, specifically with self harm. I only mention this as it might be interesting to you from a visual/storytelling point of view. It’s certainly something I have no problem being discussed or photographed etc.”

Pussy’s Bow started in December 2018 with two objectives: help support After Dark as an independent nightclub and provide more diversity for the LGBTQA+ community in Reading.
